How The System Works.
Over the years reservations have been taken by telephone, fax and e-mail...but there was not a good system to guaranteed the reservation. A hostel owner would hold the room for five persons and only three would arrive, or worse not arrive at all. Now many of the hostels will take a reservation, and since it was not paid for give the room to someone that was standing in front of them with the money. Because of the bad experiences, I can not say that I blame them. To help both the buyer and the seller we offer a safe and secure service where you can make a reservation in advance, pay for it with a credit card and be confident that you will have a room when you arrive. Our charge for this service is only $1.50 for each reservation, plus the actual cost to us by PayPal for using your credit card. This cost is 3.9% plus $0.30. If your reservation is for three nights, and the cost of the room is $5.00, your cost would be $15.00 plus $0.59, + $0.30, +$1.50. A total of $17.39. No phone or fax charges.
